    As of today, the Yves Rocher brand has its own page on the recruitment website Welcome To the Jungle to honor digital, data and CRM jobs.

    Launched in 2015, this website is particularly relevant thanks to original contents and technology to offer the best candidate experience!

    The objective is to develop our attractiveness as employer, giving a voice to our employees and offering “behind the scenes” experience to the candidates.

  • A new commitment between Groupe Rocher and UN Women
     
    The Groupe Rocher, represented by Bris Rocher, signed the « United Nations Women Empowerment Principles » : 7 principles for business offering guidance on how to empower women in the workplace, marketplace and community.
     
    « This initiative will guide us in order to achieve our ambitious goal to give access to employment and economic empowerment to 1 million women by 2020 »  said Bris Rocher during the Sustainable Development Week organised by the Group.
     
     
    This new commitment fall in with the objectives of the Group by 2020, and with the actions already implemented by Groupe Rocher to guide the professional evolution of women in the Groupe Rocher.
    In fact, this partnership with UN Women will allow us to intensify our initiatives to promote education, training and access to employment to many women and put the economic empowerment at the heart of the policy of the Group.
     
    7 Women’s Empowerment Principles :
    • Establish high-level corporate leadership for gender equality,
    • Treat all women and men fairly at work – respect and support human rights and nondiscrimination,
    • Ensure the health, safety and well-being of all women and men workers,
    • Promote education, training and professional development for women,
    • Implement enterprise development, supply chain and marketing practices that empower women,
    • Promote equality through community initiatives and advocacy,
    • Measure and publicly report on progress to achieve gender equality.

  • Petit Bateau opens a new global logistic hub in Troyes

    On February 25th 2016 Petit Bateau opened a new 43 500 square meters building in order to gather all its logistic activities. 

    This global hub enables Petit Bateau to keep on supervising directly all its logistic activities to the 5 continents. 200 employees are located in this new building which hosts order-picking department, storage but also technical installations and offices.

  • The first international innovation week by Groupe Rocher !

     

    From February 8th to 12th 2016, all Groupe Rocher’s connected employees had the opportunity to take part in the I-Day by sharing and supporting the best ideas.

     

    Through 6 strategic axes, the employees were able to enrich with new ideas Groupe Rocher’s growth dynamic.

     

    What a wonderful success for this first edition !

     

    All employees from the 8 brands, in 24 different countries, contributed to the success of this event with more than 2000 posted ideas and with some of them already ongoing.

     

     

  • Petit Bateau / Hong Kong partnership to target huge potential of china market

    Petit Bateau and Fung Kids Limited, part of privately-owned Fung Retailing Limited in Hong Kong, have announced a distribution partnership to open retail stores in China for the Petit Bateau’s babies and children’s apparel brand.
    Patrick Pergament, chief executive officer of Petit Bateau, said: “We are thrilled about this collaboration with an experienced retail partner who will open China’s doors to us. We are confident that Chinese mothers will quickly recognise the exceptional quality of our clothes for their children.”
     
    Babies and children’s wear is a fast-growing segment in China’s market.
     
    Pieter Schats, Executive Director of Fung Retailing Limited, which is part of the Fung Group, noted that the two partners had built reputations on the strength and values of family-owned companies, each with roots going back more than a century Petit Bateau is an authentic, trusted brand and has special French touch about it. At the same time it has the right feel for the discriminating consumers of today’s China."
     
    Petit Bateau’s first shops in China will open in 2015 in Beijing, Shanghai and Qingdao.

    The Purchasing and Quality Department of the Rocher Group launched a new Suppliers website dedicated to its business partners and also accessible to the public.

     

    Driven by the Digital ambition of the Rocher Group, this website has been developed to strengthen the links between the company and its suppliers community but also to become better known by the companies wishing to join its success.

  • Yann Etienne Le Gall, Human Resources Director of the year !

     

    After 8 years spent at the Head of the Group Human Ressources Department, Yann-Etienne has been rewarded for its professional career by the Trophée DRH de l'Année. He has been proud to receive this award that recompenses all the Group projects he has led.

    On monday 16th June, on the occasion of the 18th award ceremony, Yann-Étienne Le Gall has been elected HRD of the year by 16 exceptional HRD.

    Organised by Hudson, Cadremploi with le Figaro Économie and BFM Business, the HRD of the year award values, since 1997, the HR profession and stresses the importance of this position and the strategic contribution of HRDs to the development of the company.

    The HRD Jury selects the candidates studying their career paths and their accomplishments throughout their career.

     

    «This award is a great pleasure and a source of pride for me but also for the Group and for my HR team» said Yann-Étienne Le Gall

    Focus on Yann-Étienne Le Gall's career

    • In 1998, he joined the Schlumberger oil industry as HRD of Canada Oil Industry services, based in Calgary.
    • Two years later, he is transfered to Bresil and is in charge of the « Mercosur » part composed of Bresil, Argentina, Bolivia and Chili, based in Rio de Janeiro.
    • In 2001, he became HRD of the worldwide division of the Oil Services Information System based in Houston, Texas.
    • In 2003, he left Schlumberger, after 11 years of service, to return to France. He then joined Faurecia, the french leader of automotive equipment as Head of HR Development for the Group.
    • He was noticed in 2005 by the Rocher Group, which was searching for an international experienced HRD.

    For 8 years, Yann has held the position of HRD and supports the main transformations of the Group and especially :

    • internationalisation (changing the recruted executives' professionnal profile)
    • digitalisation (setting a dedicated organisation)
    • business model transformations (Yves Rocher, Petit Bateau, Stanhome)…

    It is with great pleasure last monday night that Bris Rocher went to the HRD of the year Award Ceremony to congratulate Yann-Etienne Le Gall.

    The Rocher Group met the students of Audencia in Nantes on October 15th. Next steps: ENSAI on November 24th and EDHEC on January 8th.
